PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - WXPN, announced the collaboration between its NPR syndicated WORLD CAFEŽ radio show hosted by David Dye and producer Steve Lillywhite (U2, Dave Matthews Band, Peter Gabriel). Lillywhite will produce music sessions for WORLD CAFEŽ at the world-renown Avatar Studios in New York City.
The first of the “Lillywhite Sessions at Avatar Studios” airs on June 11, 2008 featuring She & Him. Dye will also talk with Lillywhite about the U2 album War during that show. Lillywhite will appear on the WORLD CAFEŽ the week before the first session debuts when he presents the most significant top five songs from his career as part of the show’s weekly Top Five feature on June 6.
